More about me…

I’m a multifamily investment-sales advisor, commercial real estate investor, and co-host of the No Cap Podcast. I work with multifamily owners and investors across Texas on dispositions and strategic capital decisions, with an emphasis on disciplined underwriting, thoughtful execution, and getting transactions done the right way.

I began my career as an attorney after graduating from The University of Texas School of Law, where I practiced at an international law firm focused on complex corporate litigation and real estate matters. Working closely with real estate clients sparked my interest in how capital decisions are made, risk is evaluated, and outcomes are ultimately determined—pulling me toward the transactional and investment side of the business.

That path led me into multifamily investment sales, where I could deepen my underwriting expertise, work directly with owners and investors, and develop a clearer perspective on commercial real estate investing. My legal background informs how I approach transactions today: detail-oriented, clear under pressure, and highly focused on risk, structure, and execution.

I began my real estate career at Greysteel, a national mid-market investment sales and capital markets firm representing both private and institutional clients. I was drawn to a platform with national reach and sophistication, without being a small cog in a massive organization. Since joining, I’ve emerged as a market leader, earned President’s Club recognition, and helped lead a team of colleagues I’m fortunate to work alongside.

I also serve on the Government Affairs Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC), the leading national trade organization representing the multifamily industry, where I stay engaged in discussions around housing policy, capital markets regulation, and issues affecting multifamily owners and developers nationwide.

In partnership with the CRE Daily team, Alex Gornik and I launched the No Cap Podcast in July 2024 to create candid, no-fluff conversations with CEOs, founders, and leading voices across commercial real estate. From the outset, the show was designed to reflect our complementary perspectives—my background in Texas-focused multifamily transactions and capital markets, and Alex’s expertise in New York office assets and capital markets—allowing us to approach each conversation with a broader, more balanced market lens. The podcast has grown into a widely followed platform with over 100,000 episode downloads and has become a meaningful extension of my work in the industry.

My wife Jackie, our dog Belle, and I split our time between Dallas–Fort Worth and New York City, where I’ve built deep relationships with capital partners focused on Texas and broader Sunbelt opportunities.
